Location
2 cun above Qugu (CV-2) on the mid line of the abdomen, 3 cun below the umbilicus. Locate with patient lying on their back.

Local Anatomy: On the midline of the abdomen, 3 cun below the umbilicus.

Vasculature: The branches of superficial epigastric artery and vein, and the branches of the inferior epigastric artery and vein.

Innervation: The medial branch of the twelfth intercostal nerve.

Description
This point is extremely dangerous when struck. It is located directly underneath the tantien, the energy center of the body approximately three inches below the navel.

A hard blow may impair the flow of energy through the entire body and cause system failure. This can prove to be fatal. Strike downwards often drains the energy from the body; struck upwards can increase the blood pressure and lead to dizziness; struck perpendicularly, it can impair the flow of energy.
